Just a Note from the Baze Chiropractic Team

February 24th, 2011, filed under Events

Hello!  Hope everyone is staying nice and toasty with the crazy weather we’ve been having.  I thought I’d give you and your family some tips to keep your body in mint condition.

  • Make sure you keep your neck warm!  Wear a scarf and keep your collar or hood up.
  • Along the same lines… Stay Warm – Cold temperatures can cause serious health problems, especially in infants and older adult. Stay dry, and dress warmly in several layers of loose-fitting, tightly woven clothing.
  • Wash your hands often – Keeping hands clean is one of the most important steps you can take to avoid getting sick!
  • Manage your stress.  Balance work, home, and play. Keep a relaxed and positive outlook.
  • Travel safely – The roads are going to be slick, slushy, or icy so slow down and take your time.  Be a good defensive driver.  Whether you’re traveling across town or around the world, help ensure your trip is safe.  Don’t drink and drive and always ensure both you and your loved ones wear your seatbelts.
  • Be smoke-free – Avoid smoking and breathing other people’s smoke. If you smoke, quit today!
  • Get check-ups – Whether you just slip or fall completely it can cause a misalignment.  Be sure to keep up on your chiropractic check-ups and adjustments, to keep your immune system healthy as well!
